DMHelper

Many eDOCS DM users require integration from web-based systems to DM Extensions for searching or creating new documents using criteria from the external application. The integration is designed to bridge the web-based system in DM Extensions. DMHelper is highly flexible and configurable for many application scenarios. 

 

Requirements: eDOCS DM, Windows 7 and 10

Features:

  • Ability to open a search result (Quick Retrieve) window for provided criteria. This is ideal if you want to provide a way to get to the documents for a specific item from the point of view of an external web-based system.
  • Ability to optionally create new validation data such as Client or Matter information in eDOCS DM on-the-fly.
  • Partially fill a profile and prompt the user to import a file. This is ideal if you want to provide a link in a web-based system to import a file into DM using pre-filled profile field data.
  • DMHelper.exe can take input from a custom URI:
    e.g. mlcdm://FORM;LAWQBE/CRITERIA;CLIENT_ID=123;MATTER_ID=99999
  • DMHelper.exe can take input from an MRF file (a formatted text file):
    e.g. FORM;LAWQBE
    CRITERIA;CLIENTID=123;MATTER_ID=99999
